Kiara Lashay Davis is a passionate social worker turned chef, born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A graduate of Brainerd High School, she moved to Murfreesboro in 2013 to attend Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2018.

After college, Kiara began working for the State of Tennessee, serving children in the foster care system. While pursuing a Master’s degree in 2018, she discovered her true passion—cooking. This realization led her to start a cooking business in 2019, where she began selling meals and building a loyal customer base.

In 2022, Kiara took her culinary skills to the next level by enrolling at Nashville State Community College, where she graduated in 2024 with an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts, along with technical certificates in Culinary Arts and Fundamental Cook.

Today, Kiara is on a mission to merge her two greatest passions—social work and cooking—by creating opportunities that feed both the body and the soul. Her vision is to one day develop programs or initiatives that use food as a tool for healing, empowerment, and community building.
